The Warrior’s Corner community was created so that I could share what I’ve learned along my life’s journey of transformation with you and so that you can also experience your own unique transformation.

I believe that you CAN create a life that’s barely recognizable to you, and have the kind of impact that I KNOW you are capable of having in this world because… You are VALUABLE.

Why?

As a Keynote Speaker, Educator, Spiritual Guide, and one of the most powerful and heart-seeking voices today, I am dedicated to transforming the human experience and expectations. As a dynamic and sought-after keynote speaker on reclaiming your power and healing from internal trauma of our past experiences, I believe in empowering others to know and believe that each of us can overcome our past, heal, and live fearlessly.

I am the Founder of Phenix Rising Academy, a STEAM nonprofit created to educate the younger generation and adults within minority and low-income communities, providing knowledge in the field of study that is limited in these targeted communities.

Clients who experience and connect with me, whether one-on-one, or on a stage I always make sure to always leave my audience empowered, ignited, and ready to take control of their lives and walk in their inner power.

I truly understands that Critical Life skills and Understanding Human Behavior can change not only the way you live this life but the way you view it and yourself in it. I love teaching the skills needed to excel not only on an emotional and mental level but on a human level as well.

I believe in arming individuals with the tools and curriculum to Break the Chains of past wounds and learn to TRULY love their whole selves. By providing a safe atmosphere where understanding and accepting that There is No Healing without Truth, opening the doors to reclaiming their power, and remembering we are A Warrior People.

I often say my greatest superpowers are my deep empathy for others, my deep intuition, and my compassion for helping people break through deep-rooted challenges that at one time seemed impossible to confront.

Education

Having 34 years of Coaching and Speaking experience, I have always been committed to advocating and empowering individuals to fight for the power within themselves and pursue the life that their Soul desires.

I discovered my passion for empowering people at a very early age, my journey began at the age of 15 when I mentored my first young girl at the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta, and from there it went from wanting to just help young people to understand their purpose and deal with the pressures in their daily lives to helping them Awaken to the true Warrior within, and to live fearless on this planet.

community Activist

Serving on the Boards of several community services organizations in the Atlanta Ga area, and the Norfolk Va area while serving in United States Navy, I have gained a tremendous amount of depth, knowledge, and understanding of the need for mental, emotional, and internal healing in the inner city and minority families and communities.

After connecting the dots from the lives of the many young girls I was coaching and mentoring, I began to see the patterns and similar experiences throughout the lives of young black and brown individuals in our communities. It ignited something inside of me that would send me on a self-transformation of my own.

With a fiery passion and wealth of knowledge, I plan to arm my community with the skills and tools to remember the Warrior that we are and have always been within our souls, reclaiming the power of the Warriors from which we come from.

On a Personal note...

I am a Mother of two Queens and a King, a Daughter, a Sister, and a Spirit that is having an amazing Human Experience. My most pivotal and life-changing moment came for me on June 5th, 1993 the day of my high school graduation. I lined up with my graduating class that day knowing in the audience, there would sit not one single person cheering for me, yet I had no desire to fold, no desire to quit, I would succeed no matter what, The Warrior in me was introduced.

I made up my mind that day that if I had made it this far, to be able to walk across the stage and receive my greatest accomplishment thus far on my own, then there would be no holding back from here.

I have always told myself that as long as I didn’t give up on myself then no one or nothing in this world could break me, I am unstoppable… and I have learned that life is a journey, not a race.
