Many innovations and inventions of our African American people are integral to our society and world today and are truly historical impressive accomplishments on their own. Despite a strong racial bias and desire to erase our history, that continues to this day, these brilliant minds overcame longstanding disadvantages to benefit a country and system that intentionally overlooked their achievements, potential, and even their humanity.

While the majority of Black Americans are direct descendants from Africa, via the American slave trade from Africa and therefore considered African Americans. There are also a significant number of other Black Americans who came to America by way of the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, and South America. Regardless of our ancestors passage here we are all descendants of Africa and we’re all considered to be one race… one Family. Blackness is Greatness 365
